I'm feeling really sian right now. Got back 2 quizzes today, fluids and thermodynamics. Scored 45 for fluids, 52 for thermo. Not too sad about fluids, since the whole cohort died as a batch, average of whole cohort was just 42. But for thermo, the results really affected me. Average for whole cohort was around 70+, and I got a measly 52.
Which brings me to the point about why I am so sian. For the effort I have put in studying, I dun see the results anymore. I guess it's cos people around me are smarter now as compared to JC or secondary standard. Now, studying does not mean results. Studying merely means you can get a pass. With the exams looming in 3 weeks, I really have my doubts over this semester's results. Will I fail subjects? Right now, my biggest worries are thermodynamics, fluids, and computing. That's 3 out of 5 subjects this semester. How nice...
