I mourn the loss of my laptop. Well it isn't a permanent loss, but I haven't had my laptop for the past 2 weeks or so. And it sure is troublesome and inconvenient. For example, when I print notes, I need to use Xuanyou's printer (thanks!). To stay connected to the rest of the world, I need to borrow Randy's laptop. Get well soon laptop!
This incident also struck me about how dependent we are on technology nowadays. Such high tech gadgets have become so integrated into our lives, that we find it almost impossible to function once these luxuries are taken from us. Take away a person's phone and computer access, and let's observe how they live their lives. We have all become dependent on technology to even carry out our day to day activities.
On a lighter note, Cassandra (the one from hall, not CBE) just introduced me to a new sitcom! Big Bang Theory, about a bunch of geeks who are so damn funny. Sheldon is just hilarious, though he can be really irritating and arrogant at times. But his arrogance makes him funny. Haha.
