And so, after 6 long months, 12 hours on the plane, 6 hours waiting, and a 4 hour train ride, I have arrived in Jonkoping, a small city in the country of Sweden. Where the Os are not just plain Os, but some might have dots on top. Where the letter J is not pronounced as a J, but as a Y. Why, I do not know. All I can say is Swedish is a very very profound language that I have been unable to understand at all.
So far the weather's been quite kind, with temperatures of around 7 degrees celsius. Went to Gotemburg yesterday to check out the amusement park there called Lieseberg. Think the rides there are quite fun, not that scary, but more of fun. Enjoyed riding this ride called the kanonball (cannonball in english, told you guys Swedish is a funny language) though everyone said it's the scariest. But ok wad, you are strapped into the seat, so also cannot fly off. We were there till around 11 pm. So the next day most of us were all tired out.
And one thing about Sweden is that everything here is SOOOOOOOOOO expensive!!! Really got no idea how the Swedish people survive. Prices here are astronomical! Taking a bus for around 4 or 5 stops cost me 20 sek, which is around 5 sing dollars. Ridiculously priced. Yet everyone in Sweden seems to be able to take it and live quite luxuriously at that. Really dunno how they do that. Amazing.
