So here I am again. Back to this forgotten blog. Was reading Sumiko Tan's (the journalist, not my ah neh friend) column on why she would never join Facebook. And I got to admit I was rather impressed by her writing skills. One paragraph particularly stood out, which I felt deserved special mention.
"The beauty about real-life friendships is that they can die. As we move along in life, some friendships fade, others expire and there will be those you deliberately erase. People change, you change, it's sad that we're no longer friends but it's nothing personal."
How true. And note she used beauty to describe how friendships can die.
