Relationships
Let me clarify that the relationships here aren't the BGR kind of relationships, but rather the relationships between people. Ultimately, all humans beings are selfish. Or rather most of us. The reason for a relationship, as I have learnt through my years, is for mutual benefit. Once there is nothing left to derive out of a friendship, it can be shelved. This is the scenario I have seen play over and over again in front of me. Quite a sad thing, but this is just the cruel and brutal truth. Try as I might to not be like that, I find it harder and harder to be absolutely honest and genuine and true to a friendship, not because I am getting more scheming, but I have been let down time and again. Call me angsty, but that's just my view on relationships right now based on my observations. True friendship? Rare. So to those who have true friends out there, treasure these friends and never take them for granted.
