Many great thinkers have pondered over this mysterious notion we call life. What is life? What is its meaning?
I wouldn't call myself a great thinker, but I have my own concept about life and living. To me, doing the same thing over and over again till it becomes a monotonous cycle is not a life. That's what robots and machines do, are they considered alive? Definitely not.
So what is it that I consider life? That which I deem as living? I would define life as living your life to the fullest. Not wasting a second, a minute, an hour. My definition of having a life, would ideally be doing something new everyday, such that you do not repeat what you have done before.
Sadly, that is in a utopian world, where money falls from the sky, and we can all do as we please. Linking it at best to the real world, I would say having a life is doing what you need to do for survival (such as go to work), and then spending the rest of your time fruitfully rather than doing the same thing over and over again. Such activities can include trying out new restaurants, exploring new places, meeting new people. Tragically, there are few that share my sentiments. As such, I am forced to bend to the will of the majority, and lead a mundane life as I have been doing.
Who can save me from this cycle? Who can give life to this mindless robot?
