First off, let's start with the sound system. The sound system SUCKS!!! Do not even think of Dolby surround sound. Think it's the norm in cinemas right? Wrong. Theirs was just mono speakers coming from one direction, the front. During the show, when it was supposed to be silent, there was a buzzing noise. Also, some parts had the sound jump. Meaning the audio could not follow the video properly. Lousy sound system.
Next, the seats. Thinking of comfy GV/Shaw/any other cinema in Singapore kind of seats? Wrong again! Think more of Princess cinema kind of seats. The hard kind, which can shake front and back whenever some stupid idiot behind you puts his leg on your chair which by the way happened to me.
Let's see what's next on the list. The audience. ATROCIOUS! We bought the tickets for these 3 seats, only to go in and find some aunties already on our seats. When I told them nicely that they were sitting on my seats, they said "随便坐，随便坐". AUNTIE, YOU ARE SITTING ON MY SEAT LAH!!! NOT I SEAT ON YOUR SEAT LEH. YOU COME TELL ME THIS CRAP?! Above mentioned aunties also used their phone during the show. Omg, Singapore Ah Bengs where are you? Please come beat her up.
Censorship. Essential to maintain the world balance. My ass. Wanted was basically cut up so badly, like a 3 year old kid cutting a piece of paper along the line. Make that a 3 year old kid with no fingers and using a chain saw. The whole movie was basically ruined thanks to the over zealous censor. I guess this were his thoughts as he was doing the job:
"Omg, BLOOD!" *snip snip*
"Hmm, Angelina Jolie is showing more than just her face." *snip snip*
"Wow, that guy has really sexy body hair." *snip snip* *drool*
"I'm just really high from all the alcohol..." *SNIP*
"I'll just cut this part out for fun, so the viewers will have a bad experience." *snip*
The whole storyline didn't even flow at the end of the day! So overall, this was a really lousy movie experience. And it wasn't cheap either.
